François Vermaut worked for the first 10 years of his career as Solution Architect for software companies (Software AG, Mercury, HP Software), positioning the value of IT Management solutions to the top 200 companies in Europe. He then decided to switch to the business side as Enterprise Architect for international fashion companies (FNG Group, Stanley/Stella), managing strategic initiatives for all facets of the fashion business (sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, accounting, sales, purchase, retail, wholesale, ecommerce, etc). After 10 years in the fashion business, he joined Van Hool, a leading manufacturer of busses, coaches and industrial vehicles, to manage the digital transformation for the whole group.
Customers choose Van Hool because of its flexibility and its quality. At Van Hool, we adapt the vehicles to the needs of our customers business. Starting from a foundation, we design and manufacture the vehicles our customers need. And by not compromising on quality we aim for a low TCO for our customers.
Van Hool embarked on a digital transformation journey that will deeply modernize its whole value chain. The starting point of this journey is the customer experience, in both the sales and customer care processes.
Therefore, we started with a re-modelling of our sales, marketing and helpdesk processes. To support efficiently these new processes, we implemented Odoo Sales, CRM, Project Management and Helpdesk modules.
